Singenden Wanderer German Men’s choir will perform at the Homestead Education center on Sunday, December 16, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. as part of the Winter Festival of Prairie Cultures. This unique performance will give a glimpse into the music culture brought to the plains by German immigrants. The group will sing both in German and in English. They have a lively repertoire of music and get the audience involved.

The Winter Festival of Prairie Cultures features decorated trees and tabletop displays featuring ornaments and hand-made crafts that reflect the spirit of hope, humor, traditions, and generosity which characterized settlers of the West. Cultures represented include Czech, French, German, Hispanic, Irish, Polish, Scottish, Swedish, and Welsh.
